Hi, my name is Alexis. I am a teacher at the Menai studio!
A little about me: my love of music began with early introductions to the violin and participation in the orchestra, and then being part of the woodwind section throughout high school. With over thirteen years of musical training, I have experience with a wide variety of instruments and have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of music theory in composition and performance. I also have a lot of experience going through the AMEB exam process!
My two favourite instruments are the saxophone and the piano, especially for playing jazz pieces! And my two long-time favourite bands would have to be Coldplay and The Marías.
