The first instrument used to create music along side of the ‘African’ Drum is the human voice. We love teaching singing and approach it in a fun and engaging way. The best advise a singing coach can give a singing is ‘to sing’ at every chance you get. This amazing muscle nestled in the human voice box loves water and loves to exercise. We utilise Youtube and our professional recording studio to get the best results for each unique voice.
A message from Craig
The voice is one of the most emotional of all instruments. You can tell if someone is having a bad or good day in the way they deliver a song. That said I believe that once a student is completely comfortable with their teacher you can start to un tap the wider possibilities of range, depth, tone, timber and over quality of the voice.
I use a simple yet effective approach of learning, copying, recording & evaluating to get the most out of my students. That said I still rely on and accept the merits from past and former teachers of a more traditional approach to support and scale re-enforcement. Capturing all of the necessary elements to strengthen and create a singer that is listenable not only in the studio but in a live situation.
With a healthy voice and solid performance schedule Craig would like to invite you to come and try out a vocal lesson to see why Craig is quickly becoming one of the Shire’s great vocal coaches.
